MARTECH13 Summit, the first NP Dodge Real Estate marketing and technology conference, was held Monday, October 21, at Mammel Hall on the UNO Pacific Street Campus. Over 200 NP Dodge sales associates attended this very special one-day event. Focusing on the agents, NP Dodge selected eight leading speakers to conduct break-out sessions on everything from relationship marketing and social media to the newest technology. All one hour sessions were approved by the Nebraska Real Estate Commission as Broker Approved training hours. The summit provided continuing education sessions throughout the day and the chance to visit with industry experts.
MARTECH13 kicked off with a full continental breakfast and a special keynote message from N.P. “Sandy” Dodge, Jr. and Kate Dodge, their first joint presentation in the company’s history. The presentation was titled “Ethics and Business: Addressing Issues in the Real Estate Industry and Why Good Ethics is Good Business.” The mid-day keynote message was given by Jeff Turner, President of RealSatisfied North America from Santa Clarita, CA., titled “High Tech ≠ High Touch: How to Master / Ignore Emerging Technology to Force Deeper, Stronger Relationships”. Mr. Turner also conducted one of the break-out sessions entitled, “Customer Satisfaction is a Verb.”
Other break-out sessions included “Twerminated: When Social Media Backfires” by Kelli Lieurance, partner of Baird Holm—Omaha, NE; “Customer Relationship Management Made Simple” by Carolyn Blanco-Losada, Director of Training for Enterprise Network and booj—Lakewood, CO; “A Day in the Life of a Modern Agent” by Tyler Olmsted, Front-End Production Manager for Enterprise Network and booj—Lakewood, CO; “Breaking the Referral Barrier” by Chad Rueffert, President of Braintree Marketing—Colorado Springs, CO; and “Go Digital But Get it Right: Electronic Signatures” by Mike Metukewicz, Partner of Liakos & Matukewicz—Omaha, NE.
The summit ended with a celebration of the first MARTECH event in the company history. Mike Riedmann, President of Residential Sales, said, “The excitement and energy throughout the day was contagious—MarTech13 was amazing!
